'We The People' is an initiative of NSS [NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME]. It aims to propagate the ideals of Indian Constitution. Constitution provides a set of rules for the well functioning of a society. Knowledge about the Constitution is essential for every citizen. The class ignited an insight about our Constitution. This programme was inaugurated by Nishi.K.A (Principal). Jayamohan.S (HSST History) chaired the programme. Udayakumar.K (HSST Political Science) delivered an informative lecture.

SATHYAMEVAJAYATHE

'Sathayameva jayathe' is an initiative of NSS [NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME]. It aims to equip people to realize the negative impact of fake news. Spread of fake news may create chaos in society. To make awareness on this, an orientation class was organised by our NSS unit on 09/09/2023. This programme was inaugurated by Manu.S(PTA President). Dr.Aneesh.M.R(Staff Secretary) chaired the programme. Aravind Bala (senior photographer, Malayala Manorama)delivered a thought-provoking speech.

What is NSS programme?

National Service Scheme The  National Service Scheme  ( NSS ) is an Indian Government  sector  public service  program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs [1]  and Sports of the  Government of India . Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in  Gandhiji's  Centenary year in 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community (esp. Villages) linkage.
